Jellycat’s Jellykitten range is designed with babies in mind – all products comply with EN71 European Testing Standards and are completely safe for children 6 – 36 months (they’re also very safe for children over 36 months!).  The Jellykitten range includes Toys, Books, Soothers, Comforters, Rattles and Musical Toys.

The brand has become so strong that it’s rare to see a child’s room depicted in the media without the all-important Jellycat or Jellyktten addition.

Many of our orders for jellycat toys are for New Babies, Christenings, Birthdays etc. but we sell many toys to wise parents to provide the ‘back-up’ in the tragic event of temporary mis-placement or even worse, the dreaded ‘loss’.  Having the spare replacement to hand is great for preventing tears when ‘banket’, ‘flopsy’ or ‘snuggles’ can’t be found.

Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week, as the event is now known, is a fusion of many exciting elements, with its great mix of competitive sailing and social activities. The 8,500 competitors range from Olympic and world class professionals to weekend sailors.  In excess of 100,000 spectators come to watch the sailing, enjoy the parties and live entertainment, and to experience the unique atmosphere. It is genuinely a one-of-a-kind event – come and see for yourself!

If you are in and around Cowes during the racing you’ll be amazed at the entertainment laid on ashore for spectators during the day and crew by night. Cowes truly comes alive with a cacophony of colours and sounds. We won’t miss a second of it and will be open throughout to welcome any visitors looking for that special gift or a memento of a spectacular week.

Competitors come from all over the UK, other parts of Europe and as far away as the USA to follow the 50 nautical mile course round the Isle of Wight. Starting on the famous Royal Yacht Squadron line in Cowes, the fleet races westabout, to The Needles, round St Catherine’s Point and Bembridge Ledge buoy, and back into the Solent to the finish line at Cowes.

Spectators can find many vantage points, both on the mainland and Isle of Wight, to watch the race progress. The first start in Cowes is at 6am but you can find more information about where the boats will be at different times during the day by clicking here.
